So a lot has been going on...here are a few of the updates...probably shouldn't bore you with all.
Home life: (scott please refrain from leaving extra cheesy comments...thanks).
* crock pot cooking is a must if anyone expects mommy to have some sanity. I can not cook with two kids hanging on my leg crying. It is literally impossible and anyone who is doing it or has done it after working a full day I think you are bionic and amazing and borderline like the girl in that show...what is it...Small wonder...(she's a small wonder...i'm singing that..bonus points to anyone that knows the real name of the show.)
* Lucas is getting over a pretty nasty case of Coxsackie. My daughter brooke had this a long time ago but not in the same way. She had the high fever but no blisters in the mouth. Well Lucas felt he should top her with something so he got them in his mouth, throat and even on his chin. He pretty much looked like a teenager on a bad zit day. The worst part of Coxsackie is that they are painful when in the mouth and they don't want to eat or drink. This is when I had to step in because I WAS NOT having my child hooked up to IV if I could prevent it in anyway. He hated me but that's okay..I'm sure he forgot already. I took syringes and filled them with Gatorade. Then I literally poured it down his throat...sounds easier than it was...HE DID NOT WANT TO OPEN HIS MOUTH....need I say this was a great night.
*Kids and I filled 6 bags...SIX BAGS full of toys and books that they were willing lol..to give to the needy. Now I'm laughing only because I honestly asked Brooke "what about this?" She would say something like, "Sure, I think that will go to a little girl." Now, there were a few times that I didn't ask and just put something in the bag. She would go and say "nope, I don't want to give that". Two seconds later if I asked her she agreed to give it. Lesson Learned from a toddler--always ask first, people are always more apt to say yes.
*Halloween candy has become my evil, evil friend. I hate halloween even more now...this will segway into a positive later. I promise.
*Fireplace was halfway put in (i'm thinking another 3-6 years before i can turn it on?- you heard it hear first), wainscoating done in the downstairs bathroom and the doors were finally put on, range hood was put on in the kitchen...i feel this getting boring lol.
School
*I asked all faculty and kids to donate their halloween candy to soldiers' angels an organization that takes candy and puts it in care packages for soldiers serving over seas. We collected so much that they took pictures and we will be in the newspaper for our good deed...the kids were so proud. (so was i :)
Running update
*so its not the miniscus (spelling??) It is mixture of sciatica and ITB. I got a prescription for a muscle relaxer...which I am going to need to change because I literally feel like passing out to sleep from it, a script for orthotics, and a script to get specific massage and excercise routines from a PT. Plus I am not to run for 2 weeks more....we'll see.
Well...thats about all I feel like writing about....sorry if anyone fell asleep...I wish i knew how to add an alarmclock sound to wake y'all up! lol

Happy to hear it's not the miniscus!!! If you don't like the muscle relaxers, my friend will take them...lol :)
Whoa! That IS a lot!
- Poor little Lukey. I hope he's feeling better. Ugh. I see a glimpse of my future in there.
- Soooo cute about Brooke and donating stuff. She's such an independent.
- Love the Halloween candy idea!!! That is awesome!!! Maybe next year I will be able to do that, too.
- Can't wait to see the house! Sounds awesome! At the very least, we have a great place to stage Christmas photos, even if there is no actual fire in the fireplace (in fact, that may be a lot better!! LOL)
- Glad to see ou blogging again! I missed your updates!
