So all I hear now is get the swine flu shot, don't get the swine flu shot, blah blah. We've decided to go through with the shot for ourselves and for Brooke only if it doesn't contain the mercury. Now that we have decided that we would get the shot, we can not find a facility that has it. I can not get the mist because of my asthma plus I don't want to get anything 'live' with Lucas being so young. So what do you do?

I have NO idea! Good luck!
I think its definitely worth it. So many people in my office have gotten the swine flu, and its only November! Flu season goes all the way through Feb/ March! And while you guys could probably handle it, it seems to be really hard on the little ones. (Then there's the guy in the office behind me, who got the swine flu, didn't stay home long enough and came back to work hacking up a lung. Then he got diagnosed with walking pneumonia. And now its going on the 4th week of him hacking up his lungs behind me. I want to tell him to go home and not come back until that cough is gone!!!)
Just keep looking. www.flu.gov lists clinics by state. Be patient. I waited in line for 4 hours to get my shot, and the next week they started offering them at work. A clinic will open up near you soon, just be patient...
Does Brooke have asthma? Or any other underlying health condition that would make her more susceptible to the flu or less able to fight it off?
