I Could Have What???!!

Ever since the pregnancy I have been having some stomach issues/pain. I pretty much just worked, slept, worked out and ate through it. Two weeks ago when I was sick I went to the doctor for him to check out my ears and throat. I had mentioned that lately my stomach was really bothering me- I explained it like taking vitamins without eating. Not a good feeling. The other thing was that my belly button was very sore to the touch. I thought this could be do to the sometimes weird excercises we do in some of the gym classes I take. So no biggy- I ignored it- Until i went to the doctor that day. When I mentioned it he laughed like..you come and just say "oh and by the way- my belly is so sore I can barely touch it". So he sent me to a gastro guy. Again, long story short, I am not going crazy. They felt the weird "ballish" like inflamation that I have been talking about. When they pressed in on it the painful bellybutton came back. They ordered me to get a catscan to check for a friggin HERNIA. It is called umbilical hernia....if that is what it is. Which is very common in post pregnancy for mom and the baby apparently. I am hoping that it is just gas lol that got trapped because I am not one to have surgery and apparently that would be the next step. So help me wish and pray the hernia away!

OMG, yet another fun side effect of pregnancy! I hope your belly button feels better!!! (Even though that sounds funny, I'm serious -- I wouldn't want to have surgery, either!)

Maria- they are going to do a cat scan. This will determine what the tiny bally thing is. Then we go from there.
Chrissy- I have settled down a bit but am really craving to go. They said to not do abs...but otherwise its ok for now...so "I'll be back!"

I don't think you should be going to the gym at all until you know for sure what this "bally thing" is !!
