1. Went to the gym this morning and came home all tired and grumpy and PMS'y. Annette with no sleep is not a fun thing. I also am fixating on the fact that I am working so hard to lose the weight and I have only lost 1 pound in the past 2 1/2 weeks. Next.
2. Scott just offered to help...SERIOUSLY? With what he (guys) think would help. Um no. PMS does not = that! Go get me a block of chocolate. That would help. Weirdo! Next.
3. Took Brooke to a walk-in clinic last night for what turned out to be a pretty bad ear infection. I was all prepared to be so disgusted with the place and was soooo pleasantly surprised. I felt like I walked into the Disney World of walk-in clinics. Everyone was so pleasant, it was soooo clean, the doctor was absolutely great with Brooke and the rooms were so kid friendly (each room had a theme- princesses, batman, wizard of oz, etc. ) Brooke of course had the princess room! She was so thrilled that this was where the princesses went to the doctor. How awesome is it that someone takes a little time to put a few things up, put a smile on their face and make a not-so-fun experience fun! Next.
4. I have unexpectedly and shockingly felt the power of sports and team spirt shall we call it? I am very (again shocking) excited about the Jets. I can feel the buzz, the excitement! In spin, at church, and at dinner everyone is seeming to end with "lets go Jets" or "how about them Jets". So here's to you Jets fans....WOOOHOOO

5.If you didn't see my facebook post...I hope everyone will take a minute to watch/dvr or tape the Oprah show today. I hear more and more accidents happening this way, texting and driving. It is a sad show that will hopefully kick a lot of peoples VERY BAD HABIT. Next.
6. Needed: help with making my "at home" coffee taste better. Something about it...and I'm almost feeling like its the purified water we use. I'm thinking Dunkin Donuts does not use purified water? I just feel like all other components are the same except the water...hmm? what do you think? Next.
7. I think Lucas just said "Daaaad" ! Only Cannoli..he is!!! Scott will be so happy when he gets home! The word in the house: "Da-Da-Da-Da-Da-Du-Da"

As for the Jets -- even Rocky was watching and rooting them on this weekend!!!! He kept talking about how Scott must be so happy... :)
RE: coffee -- it NEVER tastes as good at home!!!! Do you put milk in your coffee? If so, I bet they use whole milk and you probably use skim milk at home. I treat myself by putting 2% milk in my coffee. Its like 5 grams of fat for 1/2 cup or something, but you probably only put a couple tablespoons in your 'jo. So go ahead and indulge!!!
I hATE when people text and drive. That has got to be one of the stupidest things you can do (sorry if I offended anyone, but its true!) But people who talk on their phones while driving drive just as badly. Hope Oprah covers that, too.

The texting and driving thing - I actually passed along the information I received and the horrible stories I heard on the Oprah show to some of the guys here at work. They say they do it and I said you should stop. I did!!!
Yup - he's really saying it. I felt a little bad, so I kept saying "ma ma ma ma ma.....", but not a peep in that direction he went. Sorry Hon....lol
Marie- I am going to leave a few things that they touched upon on the blog tomorrow but yes. The said talking on the phone...blue tooth or not it is like you are driving drunk 4x the accidents. Texting is double that. 8x's the accidents. It was really so so so sad watching these people lose a family member over something that probably just said LMAO or OMG...

First off, who was talking about sex...Scott was offering me a bad ass game of Boggle. He does this almost everynight now. AND No i am not kidding! Ever since he beat me he always wants to play. So Chrissy we will be there to have your coffee and we'll bring the boggle.

La-la-la-la! I'm not listening. Can we just delete this post and all the comments? BTW: Is it just me or is everyone into Boggle now? Marie and I boggle after dinner every night, right on the kitchen table. We boggle everywhere in the house: the couch, the bed, the floor. I guess we should boggle as much as we can before Nico gets here.
